Starting back in November, where I left off. This is us going Christmas tree hunting. Here I am with my sister Shayla and my friends from Cally, Colton & Cody.
Here is the one!
Here I am :)
The Crew, tree is tide down and ready for its new home.
In December My Grandpa Larry passed away. He had been sick for a while. He was a good man that worked hard his whole life. He loved horses and loved to race them. He always had funny sayings and great words of wisdom. I loved his humor, his great stories (he had a great memory) and his spirit and drive he had.
Here we are with Grandma Thelma, Grandpa Larry's Mother.I'm a pall barrier with my dad, brother Chéfin, uncle Larry and other cousins.
All of Grandpa Larry's grand kids and great grand kids.
Grandpas beautiful Casket. He grew up and lived his whole life at the base of those mountains.
My cousin Lexi got married to Billy Burgess.
Christmas was next. We have the tree up and decorated. It's quit a task. It's fifteen feet tall and takes some effort to get finished.
The stockings are all hung
The nativity is in place.Me in my Christmas PJ's
All of my presents
Some of my new gear for boarding. Hat, gloves, goggles & hoodie. All so sweet.
Another new hat. It's so tight.
My gift to my dad. A poncho for riding. He calls it his Clint Eastwood poncho.
I've also read the final Fablehaven book. It was good. I have loved this series.
I read Catching fire. It's a great book. I can't wait til the 3rd one comes out.
I learned how to make sushi. I'm not realy a fan of it, but I tried one with no seaweed just rice and then put it in tempora and deep fried it. I liked it then.
Beautiful sushi

My dad was asked to smoke a pig for the elders quorum. He was up a 4 am to start it. He was also asked to do dutch oven potatoes, beans, cobbler and cakes for 70 people. It was all really good and the night was a success. The couples realy enjoyed the food and the entertainment, a live band.
We went to a UVU baseball game to watch Billy play. It was fun and Billy is a great hitter and player. While we were there we ran into the UVU wolverine.
Well that's it for now. I'll keep you posted, it just might not be for another 6 months.
